changing the space

working with the point

We want them to discover how their homes connect to the city, reclaiming Leon Battista Alberti’s idea of understanding the house as a big city and the city as a small house; aswell as Aldo van Eyck expounds in his diagram of the tree and the leaf: “a tree is a leaf, a leaf is a tree. A house is a city, and the city a house”.

We will start from a common three-dimensional element: the globe. With it, basic compositions of three units will be performed in the first place. We intend to establish the concept of triangle as a non-deformable element so as to invade the spaces we want.

Color your city

The city/town we are working in has become a playground, an experimental laboratory in which children and teenagers can act from a new point of view.
